LFCCPraise & Worship Team

We serve openly and willingly as vessels committed to exalting our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It is our earnest prayer that the Holy Spirit drenches us as a unit with His glory and anointing as we minister, in order to usher the people into the very presence of God. We proudly prepare the way for our Pastor, Joel W. Davis, by saturating the atmosphere with songs and shouts of praise, and worship from the depths of our hearts before he delivers the unadulterated, seasoned word of God to the congregation.

Answering the Call

Being a member of a praise team is an opportunity we view as a honor and a privilege. It's a work that ushers in His presence and honors Him. To answer this call, we have committed to being spiritually prepared to minister.

the critical factor

The critical factor in this ministry is our relationship with God. Without a close relationship to God, we understand that we will NOT be effective, regardless of musical proficiency. We come prepared to worship God and minister to His people.

Commitment

We have also committed to grow spiritually. This must be done on an individual basis and as a team. As a leadership ministry, we have committed to strive to go to the next spiritual level. We commit to encourage and challenge one another.

Growing

We recognize that a stagnant spiritual life will cause a stagnant Praise and Worship Team. We also understand that our spiritual preparation is vital to our effectiveness as a music ministry team and each day we strive to grow stronger in our ministry and in God's anointing.

About UsOur Goal

Our ultimate goal is to bring the congregation into the presence of God and set the atmosphere for the Pastor to minister the Word of God. Our goal is to not only praise and worship God during church services, but also in our everyday walk, so that "the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart" (Psalm 19:14) are acceptable to God.

Commit your life to Christ.

Place your complete faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life. The Bible says that "if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved" (Rom. 10:9). The life of praise begins at this moment.

Confess sin and repent.

Sin, including prideful self-reliance, separates us from God and from His love and protection. But we have the assurance of forgiveness if we come to Him in repentance (1 John 1:9). Confess any known sin and ask God to search your heart. Then, receive His forgiveness.

Praise God anyway!

Despite your present feelings, it is important to offer praise to God. Hebrews 13:15 calls it a sacrifice" of praise. Despite our feelings or circumstances, God asks us to take the first step, especially when He is trying to help us grow in our faith (James 1:2-4).

Connect with other believers.

Sharing your struggles with another brother or sister in Christ is not only a good idea (Ecc. 4:9-10), it is commanded (James 5:16). Uniting is also key in being able to praise God (Heb. 10:24-25). courtesy of cbn.com.
